The late Pierre A. Rinfret's "blogs" on Wayback Machine

I came across the late economist Pierre Rinfret's website pages recently and found them to be informative and amusing. During the last several years of his life, Rinfret shared his experiences and views about economics and politics with the world, via the Internet, compelled by a desire to share his wisdom with the next generation.

Here are some links to a few posts that I found interesting:

12/8/05 PERSPECTIVE ON CHAOS

5/8/02 AMATEURS IN OFFICE OR WHY EVERY PRESIDENT HAS TROUBLE KNOWING WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE AMERICAN ECONOMY

"Wall Street Starts at a river and ends at a cemetery"

FEAR AND THE AMERICAN ECONOMY IN 2002

FINANCIAL SCANDALS AND BOARDS OF DIRECTORS

How do I access my father's "blogs" - he started writing these in the late 1990's - way before we even knew what a 'blog' was - he was precient in so many ways~

thanks in advance

Suzanne, I haven't kept up with this blog, so I didn't see your comment. You can find your father's writings by following the links I provided in the post. He has links to some of his earlier material from some of his web pages.

Apparently some of the information was lost in a server failure, but it looks like he tried to upload everything he could.

If you want to save his work, you could save the pages to your computer, at least you would have another copy if the WayBack machine falters.

It is unfortunate that so many important people did not fully hear your father's words.
